LogixPath Application Overview

This User's Guide provides detailed explanation on every business elements and processes supported by the LogixPath Operations Management system. In also provides step by step instructions on all the operations on these elements and processes.

Information Management:
LogixPath Operations Management software provides intelligent information management tools for managing business customers, suppliers, products, bill of materials, assets and equipment, inventories, sales and purchase orders, production processes (including job orders, production runs, produced batches), invoices, received and paid payments, and workforce. It automatically detects and provides warnings and alerts when orders or tasks are overdue or due soon. It provides cost and profit analysis for projects, product production, and service execution.

Business Elements Relationships:
In LogixPath system, business elements are related to each other, these relationships enable users to find related data efficiently, they also provide overarching views to your entire operations. For example, in a sales order detail view, a user can see purchase orders and job orders related to a specific sales order line item. Another example is that a project detail view displays all associated sales orders, purchase orders, inventories, invoices, and payments.

Data Access Control:
LogixPath application provides two levels of data access control:

  1. Business element type level: a site administrator can config who is able to perform what operations on a specific type of business element. You can read the detailed description and operation instruction by clicking here.
  2. Individual entity instance level: the entity instance owner and the site administrator can config who is able to perform what operations on this individual entity instance. You can read the detailed description and operation instruction by clicking here.

Data Export:
System provides capability of exporting data to .csv files or .xml files for external file backup. A CSV file is a Comma Separated Values file, it is a plain text file containing a list of data. Microsoft Excel application and any text editor can read CSV files. An XML file is an Extensible Markup Language file containing structured and hierarchical data. It is actually just a plain text file, so you can open it in any text editor to view its contents. If you open an XML file in the web browser window, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, you can view hierarchical data, such as a sales order and its containing sub line items.
Every entity list page provides "Export to CSV" and/or "Export to XML" capabilities. We also provide one consolidated Export Data master page for site administrator to export all types of site data efficiently for the purpose of periodical data backup.

Data Import:
LogixPath system provides tools for you to import data contained in the .csv or .xml files. Data in the file can be previously exported from the LogixPath application or manually input by users.


Globalization Support

LogixPath Operations Management is built with globalization framework. Currently, it is translated to English and Simplified Chinese. To switch between languages, in the page header or footer area (end of the page), click "English" to use English and "中文" to use Simplified Chinese. Switching between languages will land on the "UserHome" page for logged in user and the "Welcome" page for non-logged in user instead of the page you are currently on.

  • United Kingdom Pound
  • Hong Kong Dollar

  • Mexican Peso

The built-in currency conversion rates are updated daily.
