LogixPath Mobile APP Features

LogixPath Mobile App has four feature categories:


Manage Business Information Stored in LogixPath Cloud

The primary purpose of the LogixPath Mobile App is to provide users "Manage at Anywhere and Anytime" tools to manage Business Operations. The Mobile App's management capabilities can be modularized into followings:

  • Products: Products, Sell Prices, and Purchase Prices
  • Production: Job Orders, Production Runs, Production Tasks, Produced Batches, and Production Task Approvals
  • Assets/Equipment: Assets, and Asset Services (future)
  • Inventories: Inventories, Inventory Counting, Stock MoveIn, and Stock MoveOut
  • Customers/Vendors: Companies, Contacts
  • Document Libraries: Document Files, Articles and Pictures
  • Projects (future): Projects, Project tasks
  • Sales/Purchase Orders (future): Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Paid Payments, Received Payments


Each type of business element may have following operations:

  • Search business data entities
  • View an entity's detail
  • Drill down to view an entity's subcomponent. For example, a production run detail page displays a list of tasks and click one task to view its detail.
  • Add notes to an entity
  • Add a new entity
  • Edit an entity
  • View an entity attached images, upload a new image, and delete an image
  • List an entity attached files, preview a file, and view the full file in the mobile web browser


Adding Notes and Notes Tracking

Because of the limited display area on a phone, we limit the editable fields on phone by design to minimize potential operation errors. If a user would like to edit additional fields, we recommend the user to add notes to the entity and then perform the updates on a computer. To help user tracking all the notes added, we implemented Notes Adding History feature, see the following screenshot.




Application Settings

LogixPath Mobile Settings enable users to config LogixPath Mobile App options and behaviors.

Language & Region

Currently our Mobile App supports English and Chinese. In the non-logged-in mode, the application's language is based on the language setting in the Mobile App. If the user is logged into the LogixPath cloud, the language is based on the user's profile setting in the cloud.


SignIn Information

This setting page provides several functionalities:

  • Sign Into LogixPath Cloud: enter Username and Password, click the button "Sign In" to login to the LogixPath server in the cloud. A user can optionally change the Timeout minutes which defines the idle time before the remote serve clears the session.
  • Store Sign In information on the phone: The user enters the Username and Password, Timeout minutes, and "Auto SignIn" flag, clicks the button "Save Info", the SignIn information will be stored securely on the phone device. When the user starts the APP next time, the application will read these information so that user doesn't need to enter everytime starting the APP. User can clear the signin information on the device by clicking the button "Clear Info".
  • Automatic Sign In: If the "Auto SignIn" flag is on when Save Info, the APP will automatically login when the APP starts.


Register New Site

The Mobile App provides the New Site Registration capability with 4 simple steps:

  1. Select the Subscription Level
  2. Enter the company/organization information
  3. Enter the site administrator information
  4. Read Terms & Conditions and then Submit the registration form


Customize Serve URL

This is an advanced setting. It enables advanced users or application developers to connect their installed Mobile App to an alternative LogixPath cloud server.



Features on Phone Only

LogixPath Mobile App has a set of features running on a user's phone device only and the data is stored on the phone. These features do not required internet connection, they do not read any data from LogixPath server in the cloud and do not send any user data to the server either. User can access these features by clicking the tab "Tools".

Todo List

This easy to use tool helps users to keep track of their todo items. It provides following functionalities:

  • Add a new todo item: click the Plus icon on the top-right corner of the phone. After entering the information, click the button "Create Todo Item" to save the data onto the phone storage.
  • Edit a todo item: left swipe an item, click the "paper icon bar" to go to the editing page. Editing the information and click the button "Update Todo Item" to save it onto the phone storage.
  • Delete a todo item: left swipe an item, click the "delete icon bar" and Confirm your deletion.
  • Items sorting: Todo items are automatically sorted in this order:
    • Status: Work in progress items, just Created items, Completed items, and Cancelled items.
    • Priority: P1 first
    • Category


QRCode/Barcode Scanning

This tool provides QRCode/Barcode scanning and QRCode generation capabilities.

  • QRCode/Barcode Scanning: click the button "Scan QRCode/Barcode", point the phone camera to a QRCode or barcode to capture the code. The code format and text will be displayed on the screen. Click the button "Copy Text" to copy the scanned code text onto the clipboard. This tool can scan most types of barcodes.
  • QRCode Generation: Typing any text string into the Text field and click the button "Generate QRCode". The generated QRCode image will be displayed.


Units Conversion

This tool will be available in the near future.





LogixPath offline and online data integration

Business operations managers, sales marketing personals, and field service personals often work in the area without internet connection, neither wifi nor mobile data access. To assist them performing their jobs more efficiently, we plan to provide online/offline data integration in the future.

Users will be able to download some data onto their mobile device and later on read them even if no internet access. They will be able to make some modifications to the data and add new data. Later on, when users have internet access, they can synchronize these data from their mobile devices to remote LogixPath server.
